Waco real estate market snapshot:
Everyone asks about the local market. The word
on the street is that the Waco market is down, as is
the rest of the country. Here's a chart I
prepared from the MLS data for homes sold in the
Waco area over the past 3 years. As the
data reveals, sales this year are not too different
from the previous years sales. Some months
this year were greater than '05 or '06.
There was less of a summer peak this year than last
year, but all in all '07 looks very similar to
'05. Note that August figure reflects sales
only through 8/28.
